The world was once peppered with skateboarding games from various big names, though these have slowly diminished over the years, making OlliOlli 2 XL Edition a small breath of fresh air. The game scales back all the fancy graphics and realism of other titles, but doesn’t skrimp on the game mechanics or fun.
Not a Hero: Super Snazzy Edition is an addictive platformer that scales back the genre in a way that only Roll7 can do and it will be interesting to see what genre they will take on next. With its simplistic art style and colourful, challenging levels, this game is sure to become a classic
XCOM 2 follows on from the ‘canon’ events of XCOM: Enemy Unknown and XCOM: Enemy Within, and ‘canonically’ we get wrecked. The game is fun, you’ll lose a lot, the game makes losing fun and that’s really quite difficult
This game is very good as a time killer, or if you have several friends that you want to spend time chilling out with. Overall this is a nice little title that I shall likely continue playing from time to time.
A more lighthearted take on zombie survival, I’d definitely recommend this title to anyone who appreciates retro games and who doesn’t want to take things too seriously.
For a mobile game, it’s awesome and something to pick up every now and again and play for 15 mins on the train etc, it’s amazing. I actually enjoyed playing this a lot!
